Europa-Park Receives Renowned Industry Oscar

Award-winning range of hospitality and food service

Delighted about the Industry Oscar: Europa-Park received the renowned Hamburg Foodservice Award for “outstanding, pioneering services”. In Germany’s biggest theme park, 70 catering businesses look after the wellbeing of the guests with 10,000 seats, including the only two Michelin star theme park restaurant in the world. The culinary spectrum ranges from snacks to fine dining. The five theme hotels offer plenty of culinary highlights, from front cooking to gourmet buffet. Conferences, celebrations, anniversaries and major events are organised here regularly.

Whether it’s food that comes whizzing on roller coaster rails, tapas, fish sandwiches, raisin pancakes, meat kebabs or pasta dishes: the range of dishes offered is extremely extensive. Precisely this diverse offering along with the highest of quality and the desire to constantly set new and innovative gastronomic standards was decisive for the expert jury in giving Europa-Park the award. “Our fresh, authentic cuisine in the theme hotel restaurants is very popular with both our house guests and guests from the region. Our specialties like East Coast seafood or American steaks soon attracted a group of regulars.”

Europa-Park received the prestigious Foodservice Award for the second time after 1997 for its “outstanding hospitality and foodservice offering”, as the jury put it. Past winners of the award include McDonald’s, Vapiano, the recently deceased Gerd Käfer, Sansibar on the Island of Sylt, Tim Mälzer and Nando’s from South Africa.
