It shines, it blossoms, it smells amazing: in spring, Germany’s largest theme park gets a new lease on life. Ready for the start of the season, freshly polished, cleaned and maintained rollercoasters open and take happy people up to lofty heights. Extraordinary flora and fauna blows visitors away in the 13 different themed areas. It ranges from olive trees or pines to the typical northern plant life of Iceland. 80,000 spring flowers and 25,000 tulips surround all the superior hotels, as well as other parts of the park, creating a spectacle of colour. A colourful sea of flowers decorates the outside areas of the hotels, and spring can be felt in the rooms and in reception too. The well-trained hotel staff will be treating guests to lots of extra events and surprises for the 40th birthday celebrations!
