Europa-Park celebrates its 40th birthday

Big Birthday Celebration in Summer //Lots of Offers at the Hotels

Europa-Park is not just Germany’s largest theme park. In the 40 years since it came into existence, the five themed hotels and the wealth of eating and spa options in particular have made it into a unique location: next to the noise of the rollercoasters is an oasis of calm and rest! In Rust, they go hand in hand: action, fun, shows, 4D cinema, rollercoasters and fabulous relaxation. In the gourmet restaurant “Ammolite”, which has been awarded two Michelin stars, mouth-watering menus aren’t there to tempt just park visitors: all of the different cuisine and spa options are directly accessible without visiting the theme park.

In 1995, the first hotel opened in Europa-Park: “El Andaluz”. Since then, a lot has changed. The five lovingly designed theme hotels are now an integral part of Europa Park’s success story – they welcome around five million visitors a year!

For the 2015 anniversary, the two restaurants “Castillo” and “Don Quichotte” are being redesigned and will boast, amongst other things, a huge salad buffet and a lava stone grill for pinchos. Even more freshness and more regional produce is now on the menu, our health-conscious guests will be pleased to hear.

The hotels are a dream both inside and out!

There is also a new, simpler system for access from the hotels to Europa-Park. Anyone staying in the hotels may use all spa offerings of the hotels, and of course park in the respective hotel car park free of charge. Whether it’s generous pool landscapes, massages, hammam, baths or cosmetic treatments (journey of the senses, fountain of youth, face treatments and much more), this is where tired bodies can really recharge. While the adults take it easy, the little ones can run riot in the theme park or in the hotel play corners, or discover their skills in the Europa-Park Talent Academy. The next morning, hotel guests have access to Europa-Park 30 minutes before regular opening!
