40 years - Europa Park: Fairy-tale success story

Editorial

How Europa-Park grew from a small fairy tale-themed park into Germany’s largest theme park and top short-break destination is a fairy tale-like success story: 40 years ago, my grandfather Franz Mack and my father Roland Mack started up a theme park in Rust, which since then has constantly grown, with themed areas and attractions regularly being added.

20 years ago we built the first experience hotel. Now we have five four-star theme hotels altogether, each one more beautiful than the last. We are delighted about our high number of bookings, the awards we have received and most of all the happy guests, who visibly enjoy our range of restaurants and spa offerings, letting their minds and bodies recuperate. It’s a big challenge for our team to meet the demands placed upon us and to constantly develop and implement new ideas. The hotel guests thank us by staying longer – they tend to stay for several nights. Of course, we have lots of surprises in store for Europa-Park’s 40th birthday.

Come and enjoy some unforgettable moments in a very special atmosphere. Staying true to the fairy tale park, here with us, every guest is royalty!

A big welcome to you!
